The complex includes the church, guesthouses, the Hermitage of the Memory Chapel, and the ruins of the old Opera House. Cabo Espichel Lighthouse

If you prefer quieter surroundings, visit on weekdays. Weekends, especially in summer, tend to attract more visitors.
How to get to Cabo Espichel
The most convenient way is by car. From Lisbon, the drive takes around 50 minutes via the A2, followed by the N379 towards Sesimbra. The cape is well signposted, and free parking is available onsite.
