Where to Find the Roman Baths of Bande

The baths are located in Porto Quintela, next to the As Conchas Reservoir. Open-air and free to access, they are set in a natural environment with plenty of green space for relaxation, surrounded by mountains.

Although they retain their natural feel, the area has been improved with parking facilities and stone benches inside the pools, allowing visitors to sit comfortably and enjoy the warm waters. The human intervention was respectful of the natural surroundings, resulting in a more accessible and pleasant place to visit.

When to Visit the Roman Baths of Bande

You can visit the baths throughout the year, but spring and summer are the best times to go. In autumn and winter, the water level of the reservoir often rises, meaning the baths can become submerged.

In Lobios, there is just one large pool, always at the same temperature, integrated into a green urban park – and it’s usually busier.
